RACING FEBRUARY 19th

On Saturday February 19 we held 4 races on White Lake in which 13 Dn's raced. Fleet A (those with racing experience and shoe spikes were in fleet A. The rest were in fleet B. Everyone raced together and then the points were separated after the race. Results were as follows.

Fleet A Winner Stan Jones with 6 points, second with 7 points Randy Rogoski and third with 13 points Vinnie Labozetta.

Fleet B Winner Allan Dake with 4 points, second Al Balazovic with 9 points and third Brent Balazovic with 16 points.

Trophies Wood outline of a DN on a base were awarded to the top three finishers in each fleet. Torreson Marine and Peter Blacklock provided T-shirts or Hats to participants that did not win a trophy.

Anne & Allan Dake provided there home for warmth and cooked lunch with the help from Ed Tenkel, Sally Schwartz and Pat Jones.

Peter and Ed helped run the races which was really appreciated.

Thank you to all for a fun day. We had planned to race on Sunday but the forecast of 3 to 5 inches of snow made us decide to race only today.

We had a total of 23 boats show up on White Lake today including J-14, Nite, Skeeter, Renegade, Arrow and several other one off boats plus other Dns that did not race.

We now have two club boats (both DN's) one is a two seater as of Nov '04 for new or prospective members to use at any time. The two seater named TWO COLD will be located on White Lake. The red DN will be in the Muskegon Area contact Paul Wickland for information on its location.
