The officers of the White Lake Junior Yacht Club have planed many activities for the summer season of 2008. All Juniors have to be 12 years of age or entering seventh grade and cannot reach their nineteenth birthday before labor day. Any Children who meet these requirements may join the Junior Yacht Club.
Junior Racing
Junior Butterfly racing will take place on Sunday morning starting at ten o'clock. Anyone who is junior age or younger may race in the Sunday junior races as long as they pay Junior dues and have no one above junior age with them in the boat. Racing will be held June 22 through August 17 August 10 (WMYA Regatta).

Trophy
Racing for the this trophy is held every Sunday during the summer season. The races start at 10:00 am The Duane Pierson Trophy is awarded to the Champion of the Sunday racing series for Juniors. Duane was a past Commodore of the WLYC and a avid Butterfly racer.
